As the vice president and lead executive for Civil and Commercial Space, Carol Lane is responsible for customer and market cultivation in the Washington D.C. area. Carol also interacts with federal government agencies such as National Aeronautics and Space Administration, National Oceanic and Atmospheric and Congress.
Carol Lane joined Ball Aerospace in 2003 as vice president of Washington Operations. In that role, Carol managed government affairs and represented Ball Aerospace to federal government agencies and the U.S. Congress.
Carol brings 25 years’ experience to Ball Aerospace, in identifying, winning and growing new business in aerospace and high technology industries. Prior to joining Ball Aerospace she served with the federal government and Congress, as well as more than 18 years in industry with Lockheed Martin Corporation and TRW.
Carol holds a B.S. degree in Psychology from George Washington University. She is also the winner of a Gold Plaque Award in Sales and Marketing, in the International Communications Film and Video Competition; and she has authored numerous presentations and papers.
